Great movie!

Very great movie! Plot is good, had some humor, and I enjoyed the music. I'm glad Bella realized Jack is the best man for her. It was clear to see that Jack and Bella still belonged together no matter how much time had passed. Their chemistry was amazing. I'm also glad Matt pushed Jack to open up and be honest about how he feels for Bella. I like the scene where they are at the football stadium and Jack gets to play guitar and sing his special song for Bella. I like that the movie is real when it comes to missing loved ones. I love that Salvation Army is in it. Such an awesome movie! I'm excited to watch it again. The PenaVegas do a fantastic job! Well done!

Very strong finish for this movie

Bella enlists her high school musical partner, Jack, to win back her megastar boyfriend, Sage, who dumped her. Her obsession with winning him back immediately brought my opinion of her down. It is sadly pathetic for a while. It's not a new concept leading to these collaborators developing feelings for each other. There is another developing romance between Jack's bro, Matt, and his crush, Mia. Matt is a little slow and apparently so is Mia. The looming conflict becomes apparent about half way through. It is another common trope where one lead has a scheduling conflict. Jack ups the ante on it with an original song about Bella performed in an empty Cowboy stadium. The song is well done and the whole scene is dramatic. That's followed ... even more drama. In fact quite a bit happens. It becomes quite a good story

This worked for me more than I thought it would. I don't have a serious issue with anything in it. Fun, romantic, great chemistry, a solid story with memorable moments that I will remember and good songs. Check this out. 5/5

Carlos and Alexa PenaVega shine in this one

A perfect vehicle for the PenaVegas, who seem born for these roles. The story is well written, funny, and heartwarming. The music is very good, and performed well. The final two songs are the best of the bunch, first bringing the two leads together with a beautiful romantic ballad, and then finishing with an upbeat celebratory tune that is both joyful and a great display of singing talent. There is good humor throughout, including a couple of very funny scenes with the former boyfriend at the very end. The writers deserve credit for an interesting and unexpected reveal towards the end that is a key element leading to a very satisfying ending. This is one of Great American Family's very best Christmas movie offerings. A.

Surprise guest stars

Having watched GAF and Hallmark this holiday season I had seen the ads for this movie, also I saw where Mario Lopez had joined the GAF Network, but didn't realize he helped produce this movie with Alexa & Carlos PenaVega , but what really caught my attention was seeing Victoria Jackson's name in the credits I haven't seen much of her since SNL and here she plays Alexa's characters Agent ,it's a typical love story with Carlos and Alexa, but with a background set in the music industry, of course their not together because Alexa has a boyfriend, but Carlos plays a childhood friend who she asks for help ,as a side story they include the Salvation Army as a Christmas tie in.
